Beth MacLellan, B.Sc., DC
Dr. Beth has acquired and developed diagnostic skills to assess injuries and determine the optimal treatment plan. Her goal is to have a patient centered practice that offers practitioners with strong therapeutic skills and state o the art treatment modalities. Her team of therapist work together to effect optimal treatment of these injuries.
Dr. Beth has completed her Fellowship in Physical and Occupational Rehabilitation (FCCPORC) which has a strong emphasis on diagnosis and analysis. She is also certified in Active Release Techniques (ART)
Dr. Beth is certified in Acupuncture and IMS (Intramuscular Stimulation / Dry Needling Technique)
In keeping up with innovations in the field of treatment, she is also certified with the Shockwave Therapy, BioFlex Laser Therapy System, the Theralase Super Pulse System and the Spinal Decompression System.
Roish Jexy, B.Sc (Chem), BPT
Roish joins the Northgate team with extensive professional experience from working in a variety of manual therapy and sports injury clinics. Roish has spent many years developing a wide range of skills to add to her physiotherapy practice and has pursued advanced training in several areas in musculoskeletal physiotherapy including a certificate course in Mulligan manual therapy.
Roish is most passionate about educating individuals on the causes of the injury, how to rehabilitate it and how to prevent it from happening again. She has extensive experience in treating acute injuries, workplace and motor vehicle injuries as well as clients with chronic pain and chronic injuries. In addition to English, she can communicate with her clients in Arabic, Hindi and Urdu.
Roish graduated from the University of Kerala, India in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and went on to receive her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from Mangalore University, India in 1998. Roish is a Registered Physiotherapist in the Province of Alberta with a special interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and manual therapy. She has practiced in Canada since 2012. Prior to relocating to Canada, she worked in the United Arab Emirates from 1998 to 2011 as a Registered Physiotherapist.
Elizabeth Bryczek, RMT
Elizabeth was trained in both physiotherapy and massage therapy at the Medical Professional School in Opole, Poland graduating in 1989. She practiced briefly in Athens, Greece and in 1993 moved to Calgary. With her husband, Derek, she operated the Axis Massage and Athletic Therapy Clinic located at Canada Olympic Park (COP) where she treated both the Canadian Bob Sled and Luge teams.
Elizabeth has been with the Northgate Clinic since 2004 where she is in great demand for her depth of experience and quality of treatment. Elizabeth is also certified with the BioFlex Laser Therapy System and the Theralase Super Pulse System.
Derek Bryczek, RMT
Derek was trained in both physiotherapy and massage therapy at the Medical Professional School in Opole, Poland, graduating in 1989. Derek has been an instructor at the College of Massage Therapy in Calgary teaching both Advanced Massage Techniques and Sport Massage. Derek is also certified with the BioFlex Laser Therapy System and the Theralase Super Pulse System and is sought after for his considerable skills and experience and we are delighted to have him working with us at the Northgate Clinic.
Tabi Stevenson, RMT
Tabi received her training at Mount Royal College and graduated in 2008 with a diploma in Massage Therapy. Tabi is certified in the BioFlex Laser Therapy System, theTheralase Super Pulse System and has trained in Active Release Techniques for spine.
